Rafting Cusco Full Day

Cusco has a unique geographical location in Peru that allows many activities, traditional ones, as well as adventure ones. With this program, we will do rafting on the waters of Vilcanota river or Wilcamayu river, the Sacred River of the Incas.
Our journey begins in Cusco, we will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00a.m. and we will travel on our bus to the north of Cusco. Upon reaching our operations center, we will give you an introductory talk, during which we will give you some recommendations and we will provide you with the security team. We will sail by boat for approximately 2 and a half hours in the rapids that are class II, III, IV and V, depending on which route you choose. We can do the circuit in the Ollantaytambo area- Class III (we do this from May to December), Quiquijana- class III (from December to May); after our activity, we can enjoy lunch in our facilities, and finally we will return to Cusco, reaching around 5 in the afternoon.

These are the different levels for the rapids::

• Class I: Easy, without any risks.
• Class II: Stream, with some waves and small rocks.
• Class III: Stream, rocks, holes, waves (pleasant).
• Class IV: Stream, waves with rock obstacles, holes with more gradient or more volume of water, this level possesses a bit of risk, here it is necessary to have a safety kayak with the group.
• Class V: Stronger and more pleasant than Class IV, with an element of risk, the maximum level of commercial rafting, for this type of rapids, it is necessary to have a safety kayak with the group.
• Class VI: Extremely dangerous, it is not possible to raft on this type of rapids.

WHAT TO BRING:

• Swimwear.
• Towel.
• Flip-flops or suitable shoes.
• Shorts (to wear over the wetsuit).
• Hat, sunscreen.
• Camera.
